Drew Barrymore is Conversations to Host Daytime Talk Show

Proposed Project is From Warner Bros.

Drew Barrymore could be the latest in the long list of celebrities to tackle a daytime talk show. Sources report that the 41-year old actress is in discussion with Warner Bros TV for a talk show that would launch next year, but no deal is in place. Barrymore is already in business with Warner Bros. TV’s Shed Media as the narrator of the upcoming NBC unscripted series “First Dates,” which will follow couples who are going on first dates at the same Chicago restaurant.

Barrymore also stars with Timothy Olyphant in Netflix’s upcoming “Santa Clarita Diet,” as husband-and-wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in an L.A. suburb, until she goes through a dramatic change sending both their lives down a road of death and destruction — but in a good way. It launches next year on the streaming service. And she is an executive producer of the Esquire series “Knife Fight” and was an EP on VH1’s “Tough Love.” .
