Fox Renews ‘Last Man Standing’ for 2019-20

But Will the Sitcom End Up on Now Corporate Cousin ABC?

Fox has greenlit sitcom “Last Man Standing,” starring Tim Allen, for the 2019-2020 season. The series’ return marks its second season on Fox, and eighth in total. Fox, of course, picked-up “Last Man Standing” after ABC prematurely canceled it one year earlier.

The series hits the milestone 150th episode tomorrow evening.

Of course, with the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company, the question the ponder is if “Last Man Standing” will end up back on ABC. Keep in mind that Fox next season will be airing “WWE Smackdown Live!” on Friday evenings, where “Last Man Standing” currently airs. Stay tuned.
