Luke Perry Hospitalized After Suffering Stroke

Former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' Star Was Not Slated to Appear in Upcoming Reboot on Fox

According to TMZ, “Riverdale” and former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Luke Perry suffered a massive stroke yesterday. Paramedics responded to Perry’s home in Sherman Oaks at approximately 9:40 a.m. and it is unsure what his current condition is.

The 52-year-old who stars as Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews, on “Riverdale,” had been shooting episodes recently in L.A. on the Warner Bros. lot.

Luke’s medical crisis coincidentally struck on the very same day Fox announced it will reboot “Beverly Hills, 90210” — the show on which he shot to fame, playing Dylan McKay. He was not on the agenda to participate in it.
