Monday Final Nationals: ESPN Wins Halloween Night

It was All Hallows’ Eve but ESPN remained as Monday’s top network overall with “Monday Night Football” featuring the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears (6.38 U.S. household rating, 10.476 million viewers). While the holiday normally depresses the viewer levels, the game yet again marked a year-to-year decrease for “MNF”: compared to Indianapolis-Carolina on 11/02/15 (12.404 million viewers), Minnesota-Chicago declined by 16 percent in viewership and by 23 percent in adults 18-49 ratings (3.52 vs. 4.6)

        • No. It’s really not. No ratings on CW are good sadly, unless you mean the “good for the CW” (aka Bad) kind.

      • It would have gone from a bad result to another bad result…

Also, it pays to remember that the statistical error rate is bigger than that difference…

    • Nobody wants to watch The Odd Couple live or within three days. It’s the third lowest scripted series, and only 0.08 higher than Supergirl. Yikes.

      • It has 1.8 million viewers more, which is the metric that counts.

That said, they’re both flops at this point.
