In time period premiere news, new CBS military drama “The Code” got off to a modest start with a fourth-place 3.2 rating/5 share in the household overnights in the 9 p.m. hour. Comparably, this was below recent time period occupant “Magnum, P.I.” (which has been renewed for next season). And it will not translate into much interest in coveted adults 18-49.

“The Code” led into older-skewing drama “Bull” at a dominant 4.8/ 9 at 10 p.m., which bested competing “The Enemy Within” on NBC (#2: 2.8/ 5) and “The Fix” on ABC (#3: 2.4/ 4) by 71 percent and 100 percent, respectively. Chances of second season renewals for The Code.” “The Enemy Within” and “The Fix” all seem unlikely.
