NBC Renews ‘Will & Grace’ Through 2019-20

Midway through its return season (and ninth overall), optimistic NBC has extended the already renewed” Will & Grac,” starring Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally, by an additional season, taking it through 2019-20 (and through season 11). This is particularly positive news for Eric McCormack, who will double-dip in his just renewed Netflix science fiction drama “Travelers.”

“As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of ‘Will & Grace’ and 23 more episodes is music to my ears,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said Saturday in a statement. “We’re eternally grateful that Debra, Eric, Sean and Megan feel the same way and wanted to keep this good thing going. I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received.”

The current season of “Will & Grace” concludes on Thursday, April 5.
