Netflix has greenlit “GLOW” for one final season, which will take it through four seasons by 2020. The series explores a fictionalized version of the real-life wrestling series (as in Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling). Struggling actress Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) joins the wrestlers and finds herself facing an old best friend Debbie Egan (Betty Gilpin).
The third season of “GLOW” premiered over the summer and took the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling to Las Vegas for a stage show, where they figured out how to balance their families and wrestling careers. The finale saw Ruth and Debbie part ways, with Debbie returning to GLOW to revive it for television and Ruth embarking on a film career.
There is no word on when the fourth season will begin.
