Saturday Final Nationals: Fox Outdraws ABC in College Football Prime Time

For the first time this season, Fox’s college football coverage (of “Baylor @ Oklahoma State)” (Women 18-34: 0.6/3; Men 18-34: 1.1/6; Women 18-49: 0.8/3; Men 18-49: 1.8/7) bested ABC’s “Saturday Night Football” (TCU @ Oklahoma) (Women 18-34: 0.7/3; Men 18-34: 1.1/5; Women 18-49: 0.8/3; Men 18-49: 1.5/5) in prime time. ABC took solace in the fact that it was the network that aired Michigan State’s 17-14 upset over defending national champion Ohio State in the late afternoon; by far, the most-watched college football of the entire week, according to overnights (it drew a 6.97 overnight rating).

Overall on this Saturday night, CBS was the most-watched network with 4.47 million total viewers, helped by “48 Hours” (Women 18-34: 0.7/3; Men 18-34: 0.4/2; Women 18-49: 1.3/4; Men 18-49: 0.7/3).

The night’s other original offerings were, as follows:
