‘SNL’ Cold Open: Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson Host the ‘Ukrainian Invasion Celebration Spectacular’

In the cold open skit on the March 5, 2022 edition of NBC’s “SNL” (“Saturday Night Live“), it was a Fox News “special presentation” of the “Ukrainian Invasion Celebration Spectacular” from the Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida. It was hosted by the cable outlet’s prime time personalities Laura Ingraham (Kate McKinnon) and Tucker Carlson (Alex Moffat).

The “special” also featured musical performances from the duo of Kimberly Guilfoyle (Cecily Strong) and Donald Trump Jr. (Mikey Day); and, Donald Trump’s (James Austin Johnson) “My Funny Valentine” tribute to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
