Sunday Final Nationals: ‘Disneyland 60’ Special and Season-High ‘AFV’ Drive ABC to Earn its Best Sunday in Three Months

For the third consecutive week, CBS was Sunday night’s most-watched network. On this evening, they averaged 9 million viewers.

Another Sunday fueled by “The Walking Dead” and “Talking Dead” brought AMC another prime time victory among adults 18-49. From 7-11 p.m., AMC averaged a 2.7 rating within the demo.

ABC’s 2-hour special “The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60” soundly defeated the much-ballyhooed 2-hour special “Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows” on NBC, and thus led ABC to its best Sunday night (and its best Sunday 8-10 p.m. time period performance) since Nov. 22, 2015, among total viewers and adults 18-49.

Earlier at 7 p.m., ABC’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” earned season-highs in total audience and adults 18-49.
