The CW to Develop Anthology Hillary Clinton’s ‘The Woman’s Hour’

The CW has put into development “The Woman’s Hour,” a new seasonal anthology drama from former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Television. The logline: The potential first season of this new anthology drama will be based on Elaine Weiss’ book, “The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote,”  and will shed light on the ferocious battle to ratify the 19th Amendment, the 100th anniversary of which was commemorated in August 2020. Each planned season of “The Woman’s Hour” will celebrate those who changed history and have strong contemporary reverberations, appealing to today’s rising tide of young, politically active audiences.

The executive producers of proposed series “The Woman’s Hour” are  Hillary Rodham Clinton, author Elaine Weiss, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey (Amblin Television).
