The ongoing Winter Olympics on NBC dipped to an alarming low, which will sorely impact, no doubt, the advertising rates for future games (bother Winter and Summer). See the network averages above.

In season (or, more potentially, series finale news), two episodes of ABC game show “The Chase” fared as follows out of the ongoing “Jeopardy! College Championship Tournament” (Viewers: #2, 4.45 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.5 rating/4 share at 8 p.m.:

“The Chase” (ABC)
8:00 p.m. – Viewers: 3.00 million (#3); A18-49: 0.3/ 3 (#4)
9:00 p.m. – Viewers: 2.48 million (#2); A18-49: 0.3/ 3 (#2)

On CBS, “Celebrity Big Brother” continued to underperform with 3.00 million viewers (#3) and a 0.5/ 4 (#2t) in the demo at 8 p.m. ET. And that led into compatible “The Amazing Race” (Viewers: #2, 3.06 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.4/ 3 at 9 p.m.), followed by an encore telecast of “NCIS” at 10 p.m.

Elsewhere, Fox could not competed care of the non-scripted combination of “I Can See Your Voice” (Viewers: #4, 2.02 million; A18-49: #4, 0.3/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and “Next Level Chef” (Viewers: #4, 1.80 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.4/ 3 at 9 p.m.). And The CW was in repeats.
